Custom programming projects are handeled in-house at our offices in Springfield, IL. This allows MCS to maintain the highest quality and tighest controls over the projects we handle. Our approach to custom software development is to bring the user their information, not just a screen. Data should be available multiple ways through varing interfaces, and for this reason our primary focus is web based software programming. Web based programming gives the end user the greatest access to their data.
The MCS Process
- Identify what the client needs and assign work (Manager)
- Use a test server to implement the changes (Programmer)
- Bugs are identified in testing and send back to the programmer (QA)
- Bugs are fixed (Programmer)
- The site is tested again (QA)(steps 3-4 are repeated as many times as needed)
- Site is approved for production release (Manager)
- Changes are migrated from test server to production (Programmer or Manager)
